Vision Capture System

SolidInspect™ is a powerful vision management product that serves as a single point of control in image data collection. The system uses a vision system to verify the correct case is being shipped in real time for distribution and manufacturing environments. This is accomplished through the use of high speed digital cameras in conjunction with data from fixed position scanners to match what the case looks like to the shipping or pick barcode label. This prevents expensive items from being shipped using the wrong pick label. Images are captured and stored for verification of contents that were packed and shipped.

Images that are captured can easily be transmitted to a customer host for compliance, auditing, shipment tracking, or delivery verification and are archived on the CASI 1100 SAT RAID system controller. Customers are now empowered with the ability to verify contents shipped to them. A familiar Windows XP based system utilizes a cutting edge database for storing and quick retrieval of images generated from the cameras and carton order numbers. Incorrect picks can generate a wireless image to supervisors on the floor. Integration with SolidSuite, can enable the supervisor to immediately identify the picker who mislabeled the shipment.
