Split Case Pick Verification

As cartons travel down the transportation conveyor, the product is automatically identified by the fixed position barcode scanners or RF Tag readers. Cartons accumulate on the zero pressure accumulation zones before the scale. Once a carton exits the scale, the next carton is inducted. This is a standard feature of CASI Checkweighers.
System Operation

Once the carton is identified, the SolidCheck™ system compares the weight sent by the in-motion scale to the upper and lower control limits for the carton. This data is obtained by SolidComm™ from the WMS or ERP system. Cartons outside the limits are diverted to a manual processing station.
Exception Process

If the carton can not be identified by the barcode scanner or the expected weight is outside the upper control limits, the carton is either stopped or diverted for manual processing. The CASI SortMaster™ 100 is perfect for this application.
