Pick n Pass
Pick and Pass is a sortation methodology used by distribution centers in applications where a high number of SKU's exits in the each pick (split case) pick module. The method can have the additional benefit of eliminating the pack station by picking directly into the carton. With any sorter, the parts per minute rate depends upon the item lengths, weights, conveyor speed, and required gap.
