New Cornering device provides 100% accuracy in automatic labeling appliations

Prosper, TX, March 26, 2007, Cornerstone Automation Systems Inc. releases a new product for cornering cartons in the automatic and compliance labeling process. The CASI CD-160 closes the gap in automatic and compliance labeling system by stopping the carton, then pushing it to the edge of the conveyor which allows proper label placement.

Most major retailers require incoming shipments to comply with strict label placement specifications. Although this process helps the inbound shipper, the supplier faces many potential problems including purchasing compliance labeling systems or paying non-compliance fees. Using the CASI CD-160 ensures proper carton placement and stability so compliance labels are 100% consistently placed and readable. Typical rates are up to 20 cartons per minute on a single line. The CD-160 also handles random size boxes and conquers the problems associated with labeling skewed boxes on a conveyor.
