New Checkweigh System Designed
to Handle Small Parts and Cartons

Prosper, TX, April 10, 2006. Cornerstone Automation System Inc. releases the new CASI-851 Checkweigh System. The CASI 851 is a PC Based, free standing, self contained in-motion check weigh system designed for small part or carton use.

The CASI 851 utilizes primarily off the shelf components rather than proprietary controllers, giving the customer the customer the ability to purchase replacement parts from local vendors.

Typical applications include:

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) Weighing. This allows maximum quality control by giving the user a way to monitor performance of checkweigher.
• Automatic Production Check Weighing
• OK/Over/Under Checkweigh.
• General Industrial Weighing
• Product Inspection
• Quality Control Checkweigh
• Custom In Motion Check Weighing

The 851's system interface is extremely easy to use, utilizing a familiar Windows XP interface and voice commands in English, Spanish, French, and German. Data logging is provided as a standard offering with Checkweigh Manager in an easy to export tab delimited format. Security for your data is provided by a three level login system. All control is from the rugged CASI 1100 industrial PC based system controller. The 1100 offers redundant hard drives, a 17 inch high resolution 1280 X 1024 HMI and the programming flexibility only available via a Windows XP product.

The Standard CASI-851 in-motion scale ranges from 12 inches in length to 60 inches with scale width from 12 inches to 36 inches. Custom sizes are also available with additional lead time. Standard Product weights can range from less than .1 lb to 25 lbs, with custom product weights also available. Resolution for the CASI 851 is 0.001LB with accuracy to 0.005 LB.
