FedEx Integration for Automated Shipping

CASI offers a pre engineered solution for automated shipping of FedEx packages using either Powership or NASCAR. The system utilizes CASI’s standard Warehouse Control System (WCS) modules to automatically weigh, cube and label packages for shipment with FedEx. SolidShip - WCS Shipping System Software

SolidShip™ is the SolidSuite™ WCS module that enables the system to automatically process the FedEx packages each item. This software allows the system to control the conveyor, diverts and the entire process. CASI provides full turnkey installation and 24/7/365 support for the system.

FedEx Dimensional Weight Compliance

According to Fedex.com - Transportation charges may be assessed based on dimensional weight, which is a volumetric standard. Dimensional-weight pricing is applicable on a per-package or per-shipment basis to all shipments in customer packaging. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges based on the dimensional weight will be assessed.

Customers who fail to apply the dimensional-weight calculation to a package may be assessed dimensional-weight charges from FedEx.
