CASI 951-SS Washdown Scale with Indicator

The CASI 951-SS with scale indicator is a stainless steel scale rated for NEMA 4X washdown applications often found in food/beverage and/or extreme environments where machinery is splashed, washed, or cleaned with various chemicals. The 951-SS scale indicator is perfect for batch mode operation. When scanners or random product sizes are required, the standard 951-SS washdown checkweigher is recommended for easy integration.

Built on the standard CASI 951, the 951-SS uses a simplified design with 4 compression load cells mounted on a 3" stainless steel frame. This incredibly stable platform delivers superior accuracy and reliability. The scale is available in either roller or belt over roller, controlled by a 24 volt DC drive allowing for zero pressure accumulation infeed and outfeed conveyor.

Weight indication in provided by the CASI NEMA 4X scale indicator. The indicator is capable of providing a reject signal to a pusher or other reject.

Tolerances and batches are easy to set up on the HMI.

Weight may be displayed with 0-4 decimal places.

Specifications

Standard sizes for the CASI 951 range from 18" roller to 36" wide rollers in various scale lengths. Custom sizes are also available with additional lead time. Standard product weight range is from less than 1 lb. to 100 lbs., with custom product weight range also available. Standard accuracy for the CASI 951 is ± 0.1 lbs. and up to ± 0.05 lbs. in intermittent mode.

With any checkweigher, the pieces per minute rate depends upon the item lengths, weights, conveyor speed, and required gap.

CASI 951 Advantages

An optional brake meter belt for the CASI 951 automated check weigh system adjusts conveyor speed to carton length producing the highest throughput available. This option also guarantees one carton on the scale and allows for an integrated reject mechanism for out of tolerance cartons. System carton rate is no longer dependant upon a set scale length and speed, as these can be adjusted to each individual carton.
