CASI-920 In-Line Scale
Lease as low as $180 per month!
The CASI 920 is a low cost, high accuracy in line checkweigher for applications up to 15 cartons per minute. The 920 is designed for distribution center use and incorporates the check weigh controller 1100 Checkweigh Controller and Checkweigh Manager providing the ultimate in flexibility and In-Line scale accuracy.
The 920 is an extremely flexible intermittent checkweigh product that can be used with existing roller conveyor by simply mounting the unit underneath the conveyor. The 920 statically weighs each item and maintains production line rates using the built in zero pressure accumulation logic. This logic can be applies even to existing lineshaft conveyor with CASI TransMaster™ modules.
| All control is from the rugged CASI 1100 industrial PC based system controller. The 1100 offers redundant hard drives , a 19 inch high resolution HMI and the programming flexibility only available via a Windows XP product. | ![]() |

Specifications
Standard 920 in-line scale is 36" long by 24" wide. Custom sizes are also available with additional lead time. Standard product weight range is from less than 1 lb. to 100 lbs., with custom product weight range also available. Accuracy for the CASI 920 is up to ± 0.01 lb.
With any Checkweigher, the parts per minute rate depends upon the item lengths, weights, conveyor speed, and required gap.

CASI-920 Operation
The CASI-920 Intermittent checkweigh system uses a simplified design with a single compression load cell mounted on a massive four inch steel pedestal. This incredibly stable platform delivers superior accuracy and reliability due to a simple but effective design.
CASI-920 Advantages
The built in zero pressure accumulation control of the CASI 920 automated check weigh system can automatically bring in and release cartons at rates up to 15 per minute. Higher rates can be accomplished by a configurable screen if less accuracy is desired. This feature can be automatic when cartons identified by scanners requiring greater than .01 LB accuracy are be allowed a longer weigh time and those requiring less are moved from the zone faster. Logic for an integrated reject mechanism for out of tolerance cartons is also provided at no extra charge. Checkweigh Manager eliminates the need in most cases for custom programming.
Checkweigh Manager is an advanced checkweigh system management module that ships free with every
CASI checkweigh system. The built in operator HMI and I/O control allows
each checkweigh system we sell to perform conveyor control functions
as well as interface to barcode scanners and other peripheral devices.
Remote support is provided standard with optional Voice over I.P. available.
The CASI-920 includes divert logic for carton reject mechanisms like the SortMaster™ Series. Divert rates of 30 cartons per minute are possible.
