CASI 2000 Mobile In-Motion Checkweigher

The CASI 2000 is a mobile, free standing, self contained and powered check weighing system designed for manufacturing and distribution center use with flexible conveyors. The CASI-2000 is extremely accurate and dependable with integrated control providing seamless integration with existing flexible conveyors. Available in roller or belt conveyor designs, the CASI-2000 provides the flexible conveyor user with a mobile check weigh platform in a single system.

With any Checkweigher, the parts per minute rate depends upon the item lengths, weights, conveyor speed, and required gap.

All control is delivered from the rugged CASI Core for standalone systems or the CASI 1100 industrial PC for integrated applications where other functions such as labeling or sortation are required. CASI controllers use solid state data storage , a 19 inch high resolution HMI and the programming and network flexibility only a Windows XP or Windows 7 product can deliver.
The CASI 1100 offers standard Ethernet & serial and optional DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus and Ethernet/IP as options.

Specifications

Standard CASI-2000 inline scale ranges from 12 to 36 inches in length with scale width from 12 inches to 36 inches. Custom sizes are also available with additional lead time. Standard Product weights can range from 1 lb to over 2000 lbs, with custom product weights also available. The CASI-2000 standard configuration calibrates to 0.05, with more accurate conveyor scales available in custom configurations.

CASI-2000 Operation

The CASI-2000 uses a four compression load cell design mounted on a three thick inch steel frame. The system uses mechanical load cell travel stops protecting the load cells when in use providing 100%overload protection for the load cells during movement. The conveyor can be either belt or roller and is controlled by a 24 volt DC drive allowing for on scale zone control and installation. The built in zone control is accomplished by an integrated Rockwell PLC or PC based control system.

The standard check weigh system employs the CASI 1100 controller as a single point of control for the check weigh system. The system employs a redundant industrial computer with 100 watt sound for positive operator feedback when exceptions occur.

The CASI-2000 Unattended in-motion checkweigh system uses a simplified design with 4 compression load cells mounted on a massive three inch steel frame. This incredibly stable platform delivers superior accuracy and reliability due to a simple but effective design. The conveyor scale can be either belt or roller and is controlled by a 24 volt DC drive allowing for on scale zone control and easy installation.

Data Logging Software

Checkweigh manager is an advanced checkweigh system management module that ships free with every CASI checkweigh system. The built in operator HMI and I/O control allows each checkweigh system we sell to perform conveyor control functions as well as interface to barcode scanners and other peripheral devices.
